According to the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz engineer, the flow, pressure and installation space of the Mercedes-Benz FSIP pump remain unchanged and compatible with previous BY/SY series pumps in terms of installation size, transmission components and transmission system. Moreover, FSIP pumps need not be adjusted during assembly, nor do they need special tools. Therefore, the installation space can be reduced, the cost of installing the pump in the building can be saved, and the flexibility will be increased. The FSIP pump will eventually save 50% of the on-site disassembly and installation time than the conventional time.

1. inhalation chamber

The three-section split suction chamber has a large cover for maintenance and cleaning and a butt flange for disassembling the pump rotor/stator.

Previously installed NEMO pumps of BY and SY sizes of NM045-NM105 will be retrofitted and updated with FSIP suction chambers. There is no need to adjust the system or change the characteristics of the pump.

Stator in 2.iFD and conventional technology

The two piece iFD stator consists of a polygonal reusable housing and an embedded rubber member. After loosening the iFD stator bolt, the stator loses tension, and the rotor can be pulled out of the stator by hand.

3. rotors

For 1- and 2- pumps and 4 geometries S, L, D, P, as well as wear and corrosion resistant design and different materials. The rotor can be selected in a two-piece split design (3a) as the case may be, so if replacement is necessary, only the low-cost rotor screw part needs to be replaced.

4. pump housing - joint and rotor head

The two split rotor consists of a rotor head with a joint and a rotor side member of the coupling shaft. The two part is containerization. No need for maintenance, disassembly, assembly and refueling time.

5. transmission system of open coupling

After opening the overhaul cover, the open coupling rod is opened by loosening the only screw, and then the transmission mechanism is disassembled.

6. shaft seal

Use single face containerized mechanical seal. The entire transmission and shaft seal can be removed from the pump through the inspection hole and re-inserted through the same inspection hole.

Professional Edition: The BY / SY pump designed in the new suction chamber is equipped with a large overhaul cover, split coupling rod, two plug-in joints and a "full service online" single face mechanical seal.

It also provides transformation toolkit to upgrade the model. With the Conversion Toolkit, the BY/SY pump can be upgraded to the new standard version of the FSIP version.

All previously installed stages 1 and 2 of the NM045-NM105 BY and SY Nemo pump types can be replaced without any prior system changes or pump performance changes.
