What are the requirements for installation of hydraulic pump tubing?

Date£º2018-10-13

In order to reduce fluid noise, avoid cavitation and hydraulic shock and induce vibration, noise and heat, pump piping installation should comply with the specifications.

1. Clean the pipe thoroughly before installation, remove dirt, oxide scale, etc. The welded pipe must be washed after pickling.

2. The height between the inlet of the pump and the liquid level of the tank shall not be greater than 0.5m. If necessary, the tank may be installed above the pump. Hydraulic pumps with poor suction performance, such as valve distribution plunger pump, must have a certain pressure head at the suction port, requiring the lowest oil level of the tank to be higher than the pump center line 0.3 m, to meet the normal oil suction requirements.

The connection of the pipe joints on the suction line should be reliable so as not to enter the hydraulic system. It is recommended that the intake port of the intake pipe should be more than 150mm from the bottom of the tank, and the pipe end should be cut 45 degrees.

3. In order to reduce oil suction resistance, elbows on the pipeline should not be too many, try not to connect right-angle elbows, avoid installing globe valves, if the need to install globe valves, the valve size must be one to two gear larger than the recommended suction pipe size, in order to avoid operating errors and pump suction empty.

4. oil suction pipe should be as short as possible and the inner diameter should not be too small. When the inlet pipeline is long, the diameter of the burst pipe should be increased to avoid the insufficient oil absorption caused by the excessive flow resistance, and the inlet velocity should generally be 1-2m/s.

5. The oil drain pipe of the pump is used to drain the oil leaking from the pump back to the tank, and at the same time, it plays the role of cooling and discharging the debris produced during the operation of the pump. The drain pipe should be as short as possible. If it is more than 2m, the diameter should be increased to ensure that the oil return pressure in the pump shell should not exceed 0.05MPa, so as to avoid damaging the shaft seal of the pump. Therefore, the drain pipe of the pump should not be connected with other return pipes of the hydraulic system, so as to avoid the pressure shock wave of the system transmitting into the pump shell, destroying the normal operation of the pump or making the pump shell lack of lubricant, forming dry friction, causing the friction pair burn damage. Pump drain pipe should be separately into the tank, and inserted below the tank level to prevent air into the hydraulic system.

6. In order to prevent the system vibration noise caused by the vibration of the pump along the pipeline, a section of hose can be installed at the suction port and the pressure outlet of the pump, the length should not exceed 600 mm, and the hose at the suction port should have a certain strength to avoid deformation due to the formation of vacuum in the pipe.
